Everyone likes to save a little bit of money, but no one thinks about it more often than when they are going on vacation. Looking for discount airfares is almost an obsession for some of my friends. In my opinion, this method is overrated. Although it is a good way to look for discount airline travel and see if any carriers seem to be having big sales, it is a lousy way to buy your tickets. After all, many of the carriers will actually charge lower rates than you find on Travelocity. If you're willing to take the time to individually visit their websites one at a time, you'll find that you get the very best discount airline travel deals. Sometimes, calling and asking questions also pays. The websites are not always updated, and sometimes the best deals are only available over the phone. Happy hunting!
