Do Not Let the Economic Downturn Affect Your Holiday

As the credit crisis gets worse people begin to start to panic. The unemployment figures have gone throught the roof and it is only set to get a whole lot worse. A recent study shows that more than 50% of employees have already cancelled their summer holidays. There are two reasons why people are cancelling their holidays, one is due to saving their money and the second is because they fear they may lose their jobs is they take too much time off.

But going on a trip and having a break is not only good for you but it is also good for your employees for a few factors which are mentioned below:
1) By constantly working all year around without taking time off will make you a lot less productive. You will get overwhelmed and tired simply because you just would not have anything to look forward too and will end up getting the sack.
2) Having a break will definatley help you clear your mind and if your boss does sack you then atleast you can say that you have a clear mind and will find another job easily.
3) If you have a family they may start to get fed up with you working 24/7 and not spending any time with them, so not taking time off work could actually start to affect your personal life.

There are also a vast amount of possible reasons as to why you should look at going away, if you really think that your employer will sack you because you take some holiday time off then you must not be very good at what you do, because there is no way that an employer is going to get rid of someone just because they want to have a week or twos break from work.
