My Holiday in the Caribbean on 3 of the Best Islands in the world!

That was it, now it is time for me to get that luxury holiday i wanted. I have been working as a Barrister for many years and was getting to the point in life where I wanted to try something new. So what better way to start off this new adventure by going on a holiday to the Caribbean?

So I booked a two week holiday that would take me to three islands. First off, was the Bahamas, the largest of the three islands. This was going to be the island were i would just have a but of a relax, the only problem is that this island had a great event in store for me. I had never thought i would be swimming with the worlds most friendly and intelligent sea creature. These divine and majestic marine animals are both smart and friendly. Any cost is worth this experience, i had one whole hour on my own with a trainer and a dolphin. The Bahamas was great, so far Caribbean holidays, well worth it.

So next I was taken to St Lucia. This was a pretty island, it’s beauty enthralled me, i even spotted myself a celebrity in the form of Amy Winehouse. Everyone kept on describing St Lucia to me as a sandy island with beaches and clear blue seas, which is true, but they forgot to mention the rain forest as well. We went out on a Caribbean safari, the stories they told were amazing. I had heard a lot about St Lucia holidays, but seeing it first hand was brilliant.

Next up was a real treat, Barbados. I had been looking forward to this last part of my holiday, I have always wanted to go on Barbados holidays, but it has not been completely available to me. This was the night life island, going out in the evenings was great fun and I had the most wonderful time, I would recommend these holidays to anyone that asks.

Have you considered a Caribbean Safari for your next holidays

In General people don’t seem to know that there is such a thing as a Caribbean Safari, just the Africa kind? The white sand and the clear skies, that’s about the only thing that springs immediately to mind when you think of the Caribbean. Nobody really matches up a Caribbean holiday in St Lucia with a Safari holiday in the middle of the Island.

Although you won’t be finding lions or many larger animals on one of these safaris there are many different and diverse animals living here. Across the islands there are a massive amount of bird species. Trinidad alone has more bird species than the whole of Canada. There are humming birds and parrots, frigate birds and pelicans flying about all over the place.

Now large animals are some what limited on the land but there is not short fall of large animals in the ocean. But the Wildlife doesn’t just end at the shoreline, if you get in a safari boat they will take you out to sea. There are many different kinds of fish and mammal out in the sea as well, ranging from dolphins to whales. This kind of safari is slightly different to that of the ones you find in Africa, with this one you can sometimes get out of the jeep and walk around. But be careful in some of the larger islands you could come across some big alligators.

What is truly astonishing is the general knowledge that the guides have about some of these certain areas. There are some great stories that they tell about adventures they have had in the past. But you need to go on one of the Rain Forest safaris to find out about this. So if you have the decision on a Kenya safari or a Caribbean safari, you should think about what kind of holiday you would prefer, the adventure strung Africa Safari, or the more relaxed Caribbean Safari?

Mexico holidays have in some cases halved in price, in a bid to get more tourists!

At the moment strangely enough, Mexico is probably the best decision for a holiday at the moment. With everything that is happening and has happened in Mexico, this might be the best thing for them to do. With all the bad press Mexico has received about Swine Flu, all of the holiday resorts and travel deals have cut their prices by around fifty percent!!

Because of the situation that Mexico has fallen into, they have had to make some drastic changes to all of their holiday offers. One of the main problems is that they have lost massive amounts of money through tourism, which had become one of Mexico’s biggest money spinners. Caribbean holidays have also been affected by this and have lost revenue because of the epidemic across the sea.

You can even find some hotels that will offer you a 1 hundred dollar deposit at the hotel for you to spend on hotel services. Would it really be worth heading to Mexico for this money, with a small risk of catching swine flu, the prices probably won’t be this low again. Mexico and the Caribbean have both received bad press for this epidemic, but it is world-wide now, so snap up the offers while they are available.

So is there actually any risk of you catching it? Will you catch it? As cases of Swine Flu are disappearing out of the press, global panic is slowing down. The Sunday Times posted an article that says some Hoteliers in Mexico will be offering 3 years worth of holidays to anybody that catches the disease with 2 weeks of visiting them.

So go ahead and try some Mexico holidays or try something more Caribbean like Grenada holidays or Tobago holidays, prices for all of these places have dropped dramatically, your sure to find something you like. If you think of it this way, your just as likely to catch Swine Flu anywhere in the world because it has traveled the globe.
