Cuba deserves more recognition for its holidays, not just it’s Cigars
Cuba deserves to be better known for its country surely not just the cigars it produces?
The Cohiba is one of the world’s most expensive cigar brands and has many different types, with prices ranging from 30 pounds to 250 pounds per cigar. Is Cuba only known for its Cigars, the Havana is known everywhere but is that all we know.
However Cuba isn’t just about the cigars that they make this quaint yet booming island has many other cultural gifts to offer us. Cuba has produced a diverse amount of famous people such as Fidel Castro the politician and Eva Mendez the actress. Unnoticed go the events such as the meeting between Che Guevara and Fidel Castro, when they celebrated the success of the revolution.
Cuba holidays offer us a new niche of tourism. We must remember though that Cuba does make great Cigars and although we are accentuating this point, they do allow us to try and roll our own cigars. The Real Fabrica de Tabaco’s Partuga’s in Havana shows you how to create your own cigar and then help you to roll one. Cuba is now becoming one of the main places to go on holiday because the tourism industry is booming, this makes tourism one of Cuba’s biggest money spinners.
The Cuba hotels are getting more and more modern every day. Although they do have some national treasures, the Nacional Hotel has starred in many gangster films with Frank Sinatra and is one of the oldest hotels on the island. With its 5 stars it is clear that this Hotel is still as well presented as it was when it was first built, with many famous figures staying in it in the past such as Winston Churchill and Frank Sinatra.
Now that they have ferries from Cuba to Jamaica you can enjoy weekend Jamaica holidays as well. Cuba and it’s cigars are world renowned but this wonderful place provides us with a unique history and beautiful scenery as well.

One of these three holidays could be your dream holiday this year
Here are 3 holidays that I think you should consider this year:
Jamaica – What a fantastic place, first of all it’s in the Caribbean, which means we’re off to a good start. Long sunny days, sandy white beaches and clear blue ocean, if this doesn’t make you smile then i don’t know what will. Doplhins, swimming with dolphins is one of the greatest things you can do, and in this environment it feels like you out with the wildlife. There are Sting rays to go for a swim with too, this is more relaxing than the Dolphins, and not quite so energetic. If your not to keen on swimming with these marine creatures, then you can visit the Bob Marley museum, great fun for everyone. Try Jamaica holidays, they really are special.
Cuba – This place is another destination in the Caribbean where you can enjoy the sun. Cuba has a huge range of different things for us to do, so hear a couple for you to think about. First off, the cigar making factories, you can choose from several and they will teach you to make a cigar, it doesn’t matter if you don’t smoke its great fun anyway. Also there is Varadero, this place has one of the most beautiful coastlines you will ever see, and is contains a range of pubs, bars and restaurants. Cuba has had many famous people visit and has produced many stars as well. Even the hotels are famous, the Nacional hotel has been in films and is truly beautiful, it has accommodated many famous figures. Cuba holidays are absolutely booming don’t miss out.
Dubai – Well I think that you all know how popular this place is but I will help shed a bit more light. This is the place were you can go to feel like a prince/princess. The difference between Dubai and home is that you can feel like a millionaire in Dubai, the people are friendly and the markets are welcoming. Dubai is the center for gold trading, so when you go to the markets, and you must, just make sure that the gold market is doing well. Riding the skies in a hot air balloon is great where ever you are, but over Dubai you get a sense of how small it is in comparison with the deserts around it. You should try going on holidays to Dubai, they are so uplifting.
