Mexico holidays have in some cases halved in price, in a bid to get more tourists!

At the moment strangely enough, Mexico is probably the best decision for a holiday at the moment. With everything that is happening and has happened in Mexico, this might be the best thing for them to do. With all the bad press Mexico has received about Swine Flu, all of the holiday resorts and travel deals have cut their prices by around fifty percent!!

Because of the situation that Mexico has fallen into, they have had to make some drastic changes to all of their holiday offers. One of the main problems is that they have lost massive amounts of money through tourism, which had become one of Mexico’s biggest money spinners. Caribbean holidays have also been affected by this and have lost revenue because of the epidemic across the sea.

You can even find some hotels that will offer you a 1 hundred dollar deposit at the hotel for you to spend on hotel services. Would it really be worth heading to Mexico for this money, with a small risk of catching swine flu, the prices probably won’t be this low again. Mexico and the Caribbean have both received bad press for this epidemic, but it is world-wide now, so snap up the offers while they are available.

So is there actually any risk of you catching it? Will you catch it? As cases of Swine Flu are disappearing out of the press, global panic is slowing down. The Sunday Times posted an article that says some Hoteliers in Mexico will be offering 3 years worth of holidays to anybody that catches the disease with 2 weeks of visiting them.

So go ahead and try some Mexico holidays or try something more Caribbean like Grenada holidays or Tobago holidays, prices for all of these places have dropped dramatically, your sure to find something you like. If you think of it this way, your just as likely to catch Swine Flu anywhere in the world because it has traveled the globe.

Go to the Caribbean and you will probably come across a few celebrities!

Holidays have all been about going away to relax and chill out. Your not just going to forget something like a celebrity staying in the same hotel as you, if anything you will be on the look out for them? Celebrities love their Caribbean holidays, no matter what they will find a lovely place to stay, have a few drinks and get many pictures placed in the papers back home.

Amy Winehouse has been staying in St Lucia for the past couple of months recovering. Missing out on a photo opportunity wouldn’t be acceptable, so travelling to the Caribbean could result in an autograph as well.

Johnny Depp owns a three million dollar house in the Bahamas and is a regular visitor. If on your trip to the Bahamas you met him, surely that is enough reason to head out there. If Johnny Depp isn’t your cup of tea (Probably is for the ladies) then how about Shakira, she owns an island in a joint venture with Roger Waters in the Bahamas as well, the property coming in at 16 million dollars. The thought of meeting a celebrity gets most people very giddy and excited, holidays in the Caribbean become even more special when you get to meet a celebrity.

Finally if these “A-listers” aren’t enough for you there is also the world-wide famous actor Nicholas Cage. Johnny Depp and Nicholas Cage are neighbours, so you never know you could find both of them on your travels. If you are lucky enough to meet them, maybe you can grab a couple of pictures, that would be something to take home to all your friends.

If you’re interested in having weddings abroad, then you should consider going on St Lucia holidays, you might bump into the famous/Infamous Amy Winehouse.

Caribbean holidays, all about the sun and the Celebs, but we should know more

The Caribbean is a luxury holiday destination, but there is more to it than just that. The Caribbean is a place for people to just get away and relax, but its more than just sun and stardom? Here are some interesting examples about the Caribbean, read through and see if you knew these things. All thanks to this, it might inspire more people explore the collections of items and objects while on vacation.

Mentioned above was the term collection of islands. The Caribbean is made up of more than 7000 islands, islets and reefs, much more than people usually think. The entire Caribbean has a population of about 30 million people currently living there. It was expected that before Spain, France and England started to colonise these islands, the population was around seven hundred thousand.

So that’s the general gist of the base facts now for something a little better known. Christopher Columbus arrived at the Caribbean in 1492, and this is where the name the West Indies comes from. The Caribbean was given the name “West Indies” when Christopher Columbus made a slight miscalculation and thought he had reached the Indies in Asia. So you could head to areas in the Bahamas on luxury holidays and find out some interesting information on Columbus route.

The Caribbean is also one of the most Bio Diverse regions in the world. With the diversity of wild life in and around this area, the Caribbean is classed as an Conservation International hotspot. Because of the arrival of the Europeans in the late 15th century, many of the species were either wiped out or forced close to extinction. The Giant Owl and the Ground Sloth were creatures only found in the Caribbean, now they are extinct. Many different species have been driven to endangerment in the Caribbean holiday areas.

So visit the Caribbean on Caribbean holidays and learn about new cultures and environments. Areas like this are attracting bigger numbers of tourists each year. Tobago holidays have been a massively growing tourist attraction.
